Richard studied at the Ida Rolf Institute in Boulder Colorado. He achieved the level of Certified Rolfer after one thousand hours of
study. Richard learned how to take the concepts of soft tissue mobilization and myofascial release to a higher level. He studied the effects gravity has on the body and how gravity could support and
lift the body, creating a sense of lightness. Richard discovered how gravity pulls down the average person and makes movement feel labored. The body feels heavy because its constantly fighting against
gravity. Richard learned how to analyze the human body so he could see balance, organization, alignment, energy and aliveness or the absence of these qualities. Studied anatomy, physiology,
kinesiology, psychology and energy as it relates to connective tissue.
