CONTROL POINT TESTING

  1. Move the arrow to Control Point Testing, press the key once, and release.

  2. The yellow menu line gives you a number of commands that allow you to do different things. The commands that are listed below can be accessed by moving the arrow to the option, pressing the key once, and releasing. You will not set any of the options at this time. The following is just an explanation of what the commands will do.

  3. Up: The previous screen will appear.

  4. Down: The next screen will appear.

  5. Undo: This command will cancel an incorrect choice of a point before you start the actual test. Once you activate Undo, you will be able to choose another point.

  6. Hold: Allows you to identify those readings that are abnormal and that you want to save on the hard disk. They will be transferred to Selected Control Point Testing.

  7.  Save: This places the points selected in the Hold mode into the permanent memory. This must be done to insure the readings are transferred to Selected Control Point Assessment where most of the testing of homeopathic remedies will take place.

  8. Time Set: The default is 7 seconds. 10, 20 and 60 are options you rarely use. In most cases you will leave this setting at the default.

  9. The following commands require you to hold down the key to see the options in that category, that appear under the command in a pull down window. To choose an option, you must keep the key depressed and move the arrow down to your desired selection and then release. You will not select anything at this time. The following is only an explanation.

  10. Audio: Allows you to select the Pitch of the sounds you will hear when testing points. You may also choose no sound with Audio Sound Off. The choices are Multiple Pitch  50X, Multiple Pitch 100X, Multiple Pitch 250X, Multiple Pitch 500X and Audio Sound Off (Default Setting).

  11. Print: This option has only two choices: Chart Report and Type Report. Always choose Type Report. This is the command to start the print out of the points tested. All the test results are erased from this section once you print out the information or Exit out of the program without printing out the results of the tests. Only the test results that are held and then saved will be transferred to the Selected Control Point Assessment area for remedy testing.

  12.  Exit: This command will display Yes and No. If you want to exit back to the Main Menu choose Yes, if not No.

  13. Test results will appear in the following areas after each test. They will not be selected with the arrow. They show only the results of the tests.

  14. Up Time: Registers the amount of time required to achieve the highest reading.

  15. Down Time: Records the time required for the point to achieve its lowest reading.

  16. Maximum: Is the highest energy reading obtained.

  17.  Minimum: Is the lowest energy reading obtained.

  18.  Indicator Drop: This does not appear on the screen. It is a result of subtracting the Minimum reading from the Maximum reading. The Indicator Drop provides valuable information about the body's ability to restore electrical homeostasis at the point being tested.

  19. Use the arrow to set the Pitch of your Audio sound at this time if you desire sound to accompany your testing. Usually, sound helps you be more accurate.

  20. Wrap two four inch squares of moistened gauze tightly around one of the metal hand cylinders, if you have not already done so. Insert the two black coil cords into the hole that is recessed inside the bottoms of the two hand-held cylinders.

  21.  Insert the other ends of the coil cords into the white and red Remote Set plugs in the front of the Synchrodyne.

  22. Have the patient hold one cylinder in each hand tightly.

  23. Choose the first box that says Hand Right and Hand Left with the mouse arrow. A picture will appear with a man with a color dot in each hand. The test will begin as soon as you give the patient the cylinders. Once the testing sound stops, take the cylinders from the patient. Check the numbers of the Maximum and Minimum. The reading should be 80 and stay above 80 for the test to be accurate.  If the reading is not 80 or above, use some type of  bioelectrical or polarizing device to energize the patient's energy field.

  24. If the patient is really in bad shape, complete a quadrant test as identified in steps 25, 26 and 27. If they are not too bad just do the Hand Right & Hand Left test.

  25. Choose the second box that says Hand Left and Foot Left with the mouse arrow. A picture will appear with a man with a color dot over the left foot and right foot. The reading will begin when the patient holds the cylinder and puts their foot on the plate and ends when they release one of them..

  26. Choose the third box that says Hand Right and Foot Right with the mouse arrow. A picture will appear with a man with a color dot over the right hand and left foot. The reading will begin when the patient holds the cylinder and puts their foot on the plate and ends when they release one of them.

  27. Choose the fourth box that says Foot Right and Foot Left with the mouse arrow. A picture will appear with a man with a color dot over booth feet. The reading will begin when the patient puts their feet on the plates and ends when they take their feet off.

  28. Disconnect the coil cord and from the red right Remote plug. Dry the foot plates and the one cylinder not wrapped in gauze. Leave the gauze wrapped cylinder attached to the coil cord plugged into the white left remote plug.

  29. IMPORTANT: ONLY THE WHITE LEFT REMOTE PLUG CAN BE USED WHEN TESTING ACTUAL POINTS.

  30. Move the arrow to the HL LY CMP Waldeyer’s Tons. Ring point. Press the key once. The rectangular box will become highlighted and a picture of the bones of the hand will appear on the screen with the location of the point shown as red dot.

  31. Locate the Gain Spectrum knob and turn it to .7. Flip the Hi/Lo Gain switch to Lo and the Bar/Dot switch to Bar or Dot, depending whether you want the Gain Threshold LED Graph to give you one individual lighted dot or a multiple of lighted dots. You will usually keep the switch on the Bar.

  32. IMPORTANT: The Gain Spectrum allows you to adjust the sensitivity of each point, since each point and person is unique. The lower you set the Gain Spectrum, the greater the accuracy of the reading, but the more skilled you must be to locate the point. Usually, more pressure on the point is required when the Gain Spectrum is set lower and less pressure when it is set higher.

  33. NEVER TURN THE GAIN SPECTRUM KNOB ALL THE WAY TO THE LEFT OR TO THE RIGHT. YOUR READINGS WILL BE COMPROMISED. IF YOU NEED MORE SENSITIVITY, FLIP THE Gain Spectrum Hi/Lo SWITCH TO HI.

  34. Place your foot on the foot pedal. When you press down, you will hear a steady humming noise coming from the Synchrodyne. Keep your foot on the foot pedal until you have located the point.

  35. Take the patient's left hand and locate the point identified with a red dot on the monitor. Use a wet cotton ball to moisten the skin in this area before placing the 2 mm brass tip on the skin with firm pressure. Move the probe tip around until you hear a high-pitched sound and see all the green LEDs come on. Once the green lights on the Gain Threshold Graph stay lit continuously and the high-pitched sound is unwavering, you know you are on the point. Now make a WEE-WEE sound by taking slight pressure off the point to get a WEE-WEE sound, only applying enough pressure to restore the high pitched sound! The green lights and high-pitched sound should stay constant without any deterioration even if you hold the probe tip on the point for 10 minutes.

  36.  NOTE: If you hear no sound when you near the point, adjust the Gain Spectrum knob until you get the continuous high-pitched sound and the constant illumination of the red and green LEDs on the Gain Threshold Graph. The points are 2 mm across and 2 - 3 mm deep. There is no margin for error. You will have to adjust your pressure and the angle of the probe tip to find many of the points that are up against the angular part of the bony protuberances.

  37. IMPORTANT: You must be exactly on the point being measured for the results to be accurate and reproducible. If you are not exactly on the point, move during testing, or change your pressure, the Synchrodyne will invalidate the measurement by giving you a minimum reading that is abnormally low, zero, or negative. The Synchrodyne also will produce a tone that rises and lowers in pitch if you change pressure, that will tell you that the reading is not accurate. You should strive to maintain the same pressure throughout the testing process. If you use the correct amount of pressure you will hear a gradual decline in the tone, indicating there is an indicator drop.

  38. Once you have located the point, keep the probe pressure constant, the hand steady, and then release the foot pedal to begin the testing process. The Synchrodyne will begin the measurement sequence and continue for 7 - 8 seconds.

  39. You will immediately hear a tone coming from the computer, if you chose a specific Pitch from the menu. If you chose No Sound, you will have silence. The tones during testing are dramatically different than those that come from the Synchrodyne when you are locating a point.

  40. Try the different pitches to determine the one you prefer. Usually, the tone will help you be more accurate in your testing. If you  decrease your pressure or move off the point, you immediately will hear a sudden drop in tone. If you did not initially apply enough pressure to negate the skin resistance and apply more pressure while testing, you will get a rising and falling tone indicating variable pressure. (Dr. Voll recommends you use a minimum of 200 ponds. He demonstrated that at this pressure test results are reproducible and less pressure is required in subsequent tests.) Usually, you will hear a gradual decrease in the tone, showing an Indicator Drop that is common.

  41. The red Diagnose/Update Bar Graph will begin at its' highest reading on the scale (Maximum Reading) and then gradually descend to the Minimum Reading, if you located the point correctly and used enough  constant pressure to get an accurate reading. If you are aware that the test has been compromised in any way, you must retest the point. To retest you must wait until the test goes off and then you will have to click the key with the arrow on the point you want to test.

  42. Retest the HL LY CMP, recording the reading over the original until you can reproduce the reading with less than a 3 point difference between the Maximum and Minimum numbers. If you cannot reproduce the reading adjust the Gain Spectrum Knob until you gain reproducibility.

  43. Once you have an accurate reading, move the arrow down the screen to the next Control Measurement Point (CMP), the HL Lung CMP. Position the arrow exactly on any of the letters in this box and press the key to cause this area to become highlighted and ready for testing. A picture showing the point will appear. Test this point.

  44. Test all the other CMPs, that are listed in the order of left hand, right hand, left foot, and right foot. To test points on the next page, move the arrow to the Down and click the key once to move to the next.

  45.  IMPORTANT: Have the patient switch the hand-cylinder to the hand on the side not being tested. For example, the patient should hold the hand-cylinder in the left hand when the right foot is being tested and visa versa.

  46. Once all the CMPs on the fingers and toes have been tested accurately, move the arrow to Hold and press the key once and release to highlight Hold in blue. If the blue flashes on and off, you are not releasing the key quickly enough. You should use one quick click.

  47. Now use the Up to go back through all of the test results to determine that points are out of balance and have the greatest Indicator Drop. (The Indicator Drop is the number of points the test drops from the Maximum to the Minimum values. You arrive at the Indicator Drop by subtracting the Minimum from the Maximum value.)

  48. The Indicator Drop will be within 2 - 3 points and most of the testing results will be in a similar range, either high, low, or balanced. You will be able to determine that points are most out of balance because they will be out of range compared to all the other points. Each patient's readings will tell you what is normal and abnormal for them.

  49. Usually, the most balanced points will be those with a Maximum and Minimum reading close to 50 with a one or point Indicator Drop. The points of greatest concern would be the ones with the greatest Indicator Drops and the lowest readings below 40. An example would be Maximum = 35 and Minimum = 20. This would  be an Indicator Drop of 15 points. If you have points above 60 with large Indicator Drops, these should also be considered.

  50. An example would be,  Maximum = 85 and Minimum = 60, with an Indicator Drop of 25 points. The greater the Indicator Drop the less energy the body has at that point to heal itself and must be balanced as soon as possible.

  51. Once you have discerned that points are most out of balance, move the arrow to each point and click the key once to hold in the memory. Each box that is held will become highlighted and a Hl will  appear at the right end of the rectangular box showing it has been held. When you select a point with the Hold you cannot deselect it.

  52. When you have held the points that are most out of balance, then move the arrow to Save and press the mouse key down and hold and then drag the arrow down to the first choice, Hold-Save Point TST and release to select. Save becomes high-lighted when you do this. A window will open on the screen telling you how many points were held and transferred to the hard disk for use in Selected Control Point Assessment area.

  53. YOU MUST ACCESS THE SAVE IF YOU WANT TO SAVE THE POINTS THAT ARE MOST OUT OF BALANCE FOR TESTING IN SELECTED CONTROL POINT  ASSESSMENT AREA.

  54. Once you have saved the abnormal points, move the arrow to Print, hold down the key, drag the arrow down to Type Report, that becomes highlighted in blue, and then release to activate the printer, that will print out the CMP test results, clearing the short term memory and returning you to the Control Point Testing Menu that gives you the option to EXIT or test other points on the body. When you do choose EXIT you will return to the Main Menu.

  55. If you don't want a print out, move the arrow to Exit, hold down the key, drag the arrow down to Yes, that will become highlighted in white, and release. You will return to the red Menu that gives you a choice of EXIT. When you choose exit you will return to then Main Menu without  a print out and all the test results will be wiped clean.

  56. IMPORTANT: If you do not Hold and Save any of the readings or print all of them out, the results of the testing in the Control Point Testing section will be lost.
