SERVICE REMEDY EDITOR

  1. The Service Remedy Editor gives you the opportunity to customize the substance listings in the Remedy By Area Testing and the Allergens Testing Mode. You can list whatever you want in the areas allowed. Each entry must be less than 20 characters.

  2. In the Remedy By Area Testing, you may list up to 360 substances. Only 360 substance names less than 20 characters will appear in the Remedy By Area Testing.

  3. To use this feature, move the arrow to Service Remedy Editor when you are in the Main Menu and click the key once and release.

  4. Press the F10 key on the left hand side of the keyboard.

  5. The File will be highlighted in blue. Press the Enter key and a window menu will appear below  File.

  6. Each heading has a pull down window with various options that can be selected by using the Up and Down arrows on the right hand side of the keyboard.

  1. The only menu option you will use in the editing of the Remedy By Area will be the File.

  2. The File is already highlighted in blue and ready to be accessed. Press the Enter key once and you will see the pull down window below File appear with the Open highlighted in blue

  3. Press the Enter once and you will see the following narrow box appear in the middle of the screen:

  1. Depending on that program you want to edit, you will type in the name of the file. The following are the names of the files available to edit. You must type them in exactly the way they are written below. The three letters after the period .REM are the way the computer recognizes the files in the Remedy By Area program. The File names are: ALLERGY.REM, BLADDER.REM, CIRCUL.REM, ENDOCR.REM, FATTYD.REM, FIBROIDD.REM, GBLADDER.REM, HEART.REM, JOINT.REM, JDEGEN.REM, KIDNEY.REM, LARGINT.REM, LIVER.REM, LUNG.REM, LYMPH.REM, NERVE.REM, ORGAN.REM, ORGAN.REM, PANCRE.REM, SKIN.REM, SMALLINT.REM, SPLEEN.REM and STOMACH.REM.

  2. Type in the name of the file you want to work with. You will see the *.* in the Pathname of File box disappear with your first keystroke. The name you typed will take its' place.

  3. Press the Enter key once. You will see the following, if you typed in LUNG.REM.

  1. Use the Backspace & Enter keys and the Up, Down, Left, Right arrow keys to edit the substance names.

  2. Once you have completed your editing, press the F10 key once and the menu in Step 3 will appear with the blue box on File. Press Enter once to open the window options.

  3. Move the blue box down to Save using the Down arrow key, and then press the Enter key once. The computer will save your changes and return you to the previous screen.

  4. Press the F10 key again and the menu with the File highlighted in blue will appear.

  5. Hit the Enter key once to open the options window.

  6. Use the Down arrow key to move the blue box to Quit and press the Enter key once. You will return to the Main Menu.
