Professional Experience

  • 1976-1979: Completed approved Family Practice Residency at Monsour Medical Center, Jeannette, Pa.  Served as Chief Resident 1978-1979.

  • 1977-1979: Part-time Emergency Room physician, Monsour Medical Center, Jeannette, Pa.

  • 1977-1980: Staff Physician and Medical Director, Weight Loss Medical Center, Greensburg, PA. Evaluated and managed  about 350 patients during medically supervised protein sparing modified fast.

  • 1979- 1980: Training Site Supervisor, Delmont Family Practice Module, Monsour Medical Center. Responsible for training and supervision of Family Practice Residents caring for out patients.

  • 1979-1985: Staff Physician, Gateway Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center, Aliquippa, Pa. Responsible for medical management of an average population of 70-80 patients during 28-day in-patient program. Also managed in-patients during detoxification from alcohol and drugs of abuse.

  • 1980-1981: Assistant Director Forbes Family Practice Residency Program, Forbes Metro East, Monroeville, PA. Responsible for teaching rounds on Family Practice In-patients, teaching residents in the Family Practice Out-patient Clinic, supervision of the Family Practice Out-patient Clinic, recruitment of residents, coordination of community based teaching in conjunction with the Behavioral Medicine staff, delivery of all out patient services by residents.

  • 1985-1988: Preceptor for Family Practice Residents, Monsour Medical Center Family Practice Residency Program, Jeannette, Pa. Responsible for supervising and teaching residents in an out-patient clinical setting.

  • 1980-1982 and 1985-1987: Held appointments as Clinical Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine from the College of Medicine of the Pennsylvania State University. 

  • 1981- present: Director, Wholistic Health Center, my private practice in Greensburg, Pa. where I integrate Chelation Therapy, Nutrition and Lifestyle Enhancement, Complementary modalities and Alternatives in Medicine, Non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic techniques into solo practice.

  • 1987- present: Director, Laser Surgery Associates, a private out-patient surgical practice in Greensburg, Pa. for treatment of common dermatological, gynecologic, and proctologic problems with laser technology.

  • 1988- present: Director, Immuno-diagnostic Clinical Laboratory Associates, a private outpatient lab providing services in support of my private practice.
